1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service set out the rules that apply when you use this website or place an order with JX EngravePro LLC, a custom engraving studio located at 13469 S Corbin Valley Dr, Riverton - 84096-7276, United States (US). By accessing this website, submitting a request, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or the services.

The website and the services described on it are developed and operated by the developer JXEngrave on behalf of JX EngravePro LLC. References in these terms to the company, we, our, and us mean JX EngravePro LLC, and references to you and your mean the person or organization placing a request or an order.

These terms apply in addition to any other agreement you enter into with the studio. If there is any conflict between these terms and a written agreement that you have signed with the company, the signed agreement will control. We recommend that you read these terms carefully before you place an order.

2. Services Provided

JX EngravePro LLC provides custom engraving services, including laser engraving, trophies and awards, custom plaques and signs, wood and leather engraving, metal and industrial marking, and jewelry and gift engraving. The full list of services is described on the services page of this website and may change from time to time as the studio adds new techniques and materials.

The studio engraves items it supplies and items that the customer brings to the studio. When a customer supplies an item, the studio will advise on the best placement and method for that surface, but the final decision about whether an item can be safely engraved rests with the studio. We reserve the right to decline to engrave any item that we believe is unsafe or unsuitable.

All engraving work is performed by the studio or under the direct supervision of the studio. We do not outsource your work to unknown third parties, and we keep the details of your order within the team that handles the engraving, finishing, and delivery of your piece.

3. Quotes, Pricing, and Payment

Prices for engraving services are quoted on a per project basis and depend on the item, the material, the size of the engraving area, the complexity of the artwork, the quantity, and the requested turnaround. A written or emailed quote is valid for thirty days from the date it is issued, unless the quote states a different period.

The price quoted is the price you pay. We will not increase the price of an order after it has been confirmed unless you change the order after the confirmation, in which case the price may be adjusted to reflect the change. Any adjustment will be explained to you and approved by you before additional work begins.

Payment is required before production begins for custom orders, or according to the terms stated on the invoice. We accept payment through the methods listed on the invoice and through our payment processor. You are responsible for paying any taxes that apply to your order in your location, in addition to the price quoted for the engraving itself.

4. Orders and Acceptance

A request for a quote or a proof does not create an order. An order is only formed when the studio has confirmed the design, the material, the price, and the delivery date, and has received the required payment or a deposit where one is requested. When an order is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation by email summarizing the details.

Please review the confirmation carefully. If any detail is incorrect, contact the studio immediately so the record can be corrected before production begins. We engrave the item according to the confirmed details, so it is important that names, dates, spellings, and artwork are correct at the time of confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse to accept any order for any lawful reason. If we refuse an order, we will return any payment received for that order in full and without unreasonable delay.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information for your order, including correct spelling of names, correct dates, accurate measurements, and complete artwork files. We rely on the information you provide to produce your piece, and errors that come from the information you supplied are your responsibility.

When you supply your own item for engraving, you confirm that you own the item or have the right to have it engraved. Items left with the studio for engraving are held with care, but you should not leave items of extraordinary value without discussing insurance and handling with the studio in advance.

You are also responsible for ensuring that any artwork or text you provide does not infringe the rights of any third party, and that the content of the engraving is lawful. We reserve the right to decline any request that we consider unlawful, offensive, or otherwise unsuitable for the studio.

6. Design and Artwork Submission

You may provide your own artwork, including logos, photographs, and vector files, or you may ask the studio to create a layout for you. If you provide your own artwork, please send the highest quality version available. Clear, high resolution files produce the best engraving, while small or blurred images may not reproduce well at larger sizes.

We accept common image and vector formats and will tell you if we need a different format. Where possible, we prefer vector files for logos and lettering because they stay sharp at any size. If you do not have a digital file for an existing logo, let us know and we will discuss the options for recreating it.

We do not provide full graphic design services, but we will lay out text, balance spacing, choose fonts, and position artwork within the engraving area so that the final piece looks professional and balanced. Our layout suggestions are part of the proofing process described in the next section.

7. Proofs and Approval

Before production begins, we send a digital proof of the engraving layout for your review and approval. The proof shows the position of the text and artwork and gives a sense of the finished result. No engraving is started until the proof is approved, except in urgent cases where you have asked us to proceed without a proof and have accepted that risk in writing.

Please review every proof carefully, especially the spelling of names, the accuracy of dates, and the wording of messages. Once you approve a proof, we consider the layout final. Changes after approval may be possible at additional cost and may delay the delivery date, depending on the nature of the change.

If you request changes to a proof, we will send a revised proof. Each revision extends the time needed before production, so for orders with a fixed deadline, please consolidate your changes into as few review cycles as possible.

8. Production and Turnaround

Standard turnaround for most single piece orders is forty eight hours from the approval of the proof. Larger orders, custom materials, and orders placed during busy seasons may take longer, and we will confirm the expected completion date when you place the order. We do our best to meet every confirmed date.

Engraving is a manual craft performed on real materials, and minor variation between pieces is natural and expected. Wood grain, material tone, and the exact depth of a mark can differ slightly from the proof and from one piece to another. These variations are part of the character of a hand finished product and are not considered defects.

If we believe we cannot meet a confirmed date, we will tell you as soon as we know and offer options, which may include a rush arrangement where possible or an adjustment to the delivery date. We will not rush a piece in a way that would lower the quality of the engraving.

9. Delivery and Shipping

Finished pieces are available for pickup at the studio or may be shipped to an address you provide. The studio address is 13469 S Corbin Valley Dr, Riverton - 84096-7276, United States (US). Shipping costs and estimated delivery times depend on the destination, the size of the package, and the shipping method selected.

Risk of loss passes to you when the package is handed to the shipping carrier, except where the law of your location provides otherwise. We pack every piece carefully to protect it during transit, but we cannot control the handling of a package once it has left the studio.

If a package arrives damaged, please keep the packaging, photograph the damage, and contact the studio within seven days so that we can work with the carrier to resolve the issue. We will do what we can to help, but we are not responsible for damage that occurs after the package leaves the studio.

10. Returns and Refunds

Because every engraving is made to order with your specific text, names, dates, and artwork, custom engraved pieces are not eligible for return or refund simply because you change your mind. This is a standard practice for personalized goods, which cannot be resold or reused by another customer.

If we make an error in the engraving, such as a misspelling that came from our own work, incorrect engraving of the approved proof, or a defect in the material or finish, we will remake the piece or issue a refund at your choice. Please contact us within fourteen days of receiving your order to report any error.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Remakes are subject to the availability of the original material and the same production schedule as the original order. We ask that you inspect your piece when it arrives and report any concern promptly so that we can put it right.

11. Intellectual Property

The content of this website, including text, layout, graphics, and the overall design, belongs to JX EngravePro LLC and to the developer JXEngrave, and is protected by the applicable copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages from this website for your own personal use, but you may not copy or reuse the content for commercial purposes without permission.

If you provide artwork, a logo, or a photograph to be engraved, you confirm that you own the rights to that material or have permission to use it. We use your artwork only to produce your order and do not claim ownership of it. A copy of the artwork may be kept on file to support repeat orders.

We may photograph or display examples of completed work for the purpose of showing the quality of the studio. If you do not want your piece shown, please tell us when you place your order, and we will respect your preference.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the liability of JX EngravePro LLC for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms, the website, or the services is limited to the amount you actually paid for the engraving service that gave rise to the claim. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind.

This means that, to the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or for the cost of substitute services, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total responsibility to you is capped at the price of your order, and this limitation applies to every claim together.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, and in those jurisdictions the limits in these terms will apply only to the extent permitted by law.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The website and the services are provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the company makes no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, about the website, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement.

While we take pride in the quality of our engraving, no guarantee is made that an engraving will appear exactly as it does on a screen, because materials absorb laser and machine work in slightly different ways. Wood grain, metal finish, and other material characteristics influence the final appearance.

We do not warrant that the website will be available at all times, that it will be free from errors or interruptions, or that any content on it is free from inaccuracies. We may suspend or withdraw the website at any time for maintenance, security, or other reasons, without notice.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JX EngravePro LLC, the developer JXEngrave, and their officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, that arise out of or relate to your use of the website or the services, your breach of these terms, or your violation of the rights of any third party.

This includes, for example, claims that arise because the artwork or text you provided infringes the intellectual property rights of someone else, or because an item you supplied for engraving caused damage or injury. Your obligation to indemnify applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

If a claim covered by this section is made, we will notify you, and you will have the opportunity to participate in the defense at your own expense. We reserve the right to control the defense of any claim at our own expense, in which case you will cooperate with us as reasonably requested.

15. Privacy and Data

The personal information you provide to the studio is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy of JX EngravePro LLC, which is available on the privacy page of this website and forms part of these terms. We encourage you to read the Privacy Policy before you provide any personal information to us.

In short, we use your information to respond to you, to produce and deliver your order, and to provide support. We do not sell your information, and we only share it with the service providers needed to fulfil your order, such as payment processors and delivery companies, or where the law requires it.

When you place an order, the details you provide, including the text and artwork to be engraved, are used for the production of that order. You can contact the studio at any time to ask about the information we hold about you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

16. Termination

You may cancel an order before production begins. If you cancel before any work has started and before any materials have been committed to your project, we will refund any payment received for the order. Once production has begun or materials have been cut or committed, the order is considered in progress.

We may suspend or terminate your use of the website or decline to accept further orders if you breach these terms, if you misuse the website, or if we believe continuing to work with you would put the studio or its other customers at risk. We will notify you where it is reasonable to do so.

On termination, the sections of these terms that are intended to survive, including limitation of liability, disclaimer of warranties, indemnification, and governing law, will continue to apply. Any payments already earned by the studio for work completed before termination will remain due.

17. Governing Law

These terms and any dispute that arises out of or relates to them, or to the website, or to the services, are governed by the laws of the State of Utah and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If you live in a location whose law grants you consumer protections that cannot be waived, those protections continue to apply to you. Nothing in these terms is intended to deprive you of the benefit of any right that you cannot lawfully waive.

You and the company agree that the courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising under these terms, except where the law of your location requires a different forum. You submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts for this purpose.

18. Dispute Resolution

We hope that any concern you have can be resolved simply by talking to the studio. If you have a problem with an order or with the services, please contact us at alert@jxengrave.autos or call +15078078786, and we will work with you to find a fair solution. Most issues are resolved in this first step.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through discussion, you agree to attempt to resolve it through negotiation before starting any formal proceedings. We will both make a reasonable, good faith effort to settle the matter within thirty days of receiving written notice of the dispute.

Where the law permits, you agree that any formal claim must be brought within one year after the cause of action arises, or within the shortest period permitted by law, whichever comes first. This paragraph does not apply to claims that cannot lawfully be limited in this way.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in the services, in the law, or in the way we do business. When we make significant changes, we will update the effective date at the bottom of this page and may notify you through the website.

The version of these terms that applies to an order is the version that was in effect at the time the order was placed. Your continued use of the website after a change to these terms means that you accept the updated terms for future use of the website.

If a change affects an order you have already placed, we will honor the terms that applied when your order was confirmed, unless you agree to the change. Previous versions of these terms remain available on request from the studio.
